Agro-Processing is the sub-sector of manufacturing that processes raw materials and intermediate products derived from the agricultural sector. Agro-Processing industry thus means transforming products originating from agriculture and natural creation (plants and animals).
We aim to Increase the variety of agro-based processed products in both international and local markets and to improve quality of local agro-based processed products as well as Increase the number of small and medium enterprises involved in the processing of agricultural commodities in Uganda.
